Championing Social Responsibility in Athens

The Greece & Cyprus Business and Junior Business Council Collaboration.

Athens, Greece – December 6th: In a remarkable show of unity and compassion, the Greece & Cyprus Business and Junior Business Council, along with Domes, joined hands with the Love Van for a significant initiative. This event, aimed at aiding Athens’ homeless, successfully raised over 5,000 euros and delivered more than 200 meals.

Domes’ Integral Contribution

In the very epicenter of this inspiring initiative stood the team from Domes, who, with unwavering dedication and skill, meticulously prepared an array of delectable chicken pasta, sumptuous desserts, and heartwarming food gift bags within the nurturing confines of the Love Van space. This admirable endeavor reached its zenith as they personally embarked on a journey through the streets areas of Monastiraki and Makris, distributing these culinary expressions of care, thereby manifesting a profound and heartfelt devotion to serving the community.

The Love Van: A Symbol of Hope

The Love Van, active since 2020, has been a constant source of aid for Athens’ homeless, serving up to 250 individuals weekly. Their actions, including support for disaster victims, inspired this collaboration, highlighting the power of community initiatives.

Domes’ Members: A Force for Good

The response from Domes was overwhelming, with 27 members volunteering their time, demonstrating their core values of compassion and service. Their participation not only provided essential aid but also fostered a sense of solidarity and warmth among the community.

Collective Support and Appreciation

This initiative was also supported by Empiria Group, Domes Resorts, Parklane, Hotel Grande Bretagne, PHĀEA, Moxy Athens City, Sheraton Rhodes Resort, and King George. Their contributions reflect the strength and commitment of the Marriott International family towards societal well-being

The December 6th event is a prime example of how businesses can make a significant social impact. Domes, along with its partners, showcased the power of corporate social responsibility, reinforcing the idea that businesses can be vital agents of positive change in their communities.

Words have many different meanings. So does the Domes experience.
