If you find yourself wander around the old town’s narrow streets and walkways, you will sense the reason Chania was the object of desire for numerous invaders. Venetians, Ottomans, Egyptians and many others, created over time a cultural amalgamation fused with the local elements, which led to present day city, a destination with many faces and a unique character.

The Aegean at its finest!

The Agioi Apostoloi area -also known as Makris Toihos- is one of Chania’s most beautiful areas, which combines a rich flora -consists mostly of eucalyptus and pine trees- an eye-catching ridge and a sandy beach with a breathtaking view of the Aegean (and its sunset).

Only a resort which incorporates these elements as parts of its profile can be successfully embedded in such a landscape. Only an outstanding destination would fit in such a scenery. And guess which one is it…

Sometimes, images speak louder than words. In this case, the turquoise of Balos’ waters are more than a must if you’re visiting Crete. They are a loud shout of the island’s natural beauty and an ideal incorporation of its essence. A medium-size beach with white sand and stunning surroundings which create an idyllic scenery you simply cannot miss!

Try to remember the last great sunset you’ve witnessed. Now go to Falasarna and forget it. This West coast destination offers more than a set of fine pinkish sand and crystal clear waters. It is also the ideal spot to enjoy a summer Meditteranean sunset, as it faces the West. So, if you’re dazzled by the lanndscape’s palette, wait until the sun goes down…

Every path is a fascinating journey!

The broader Chania region gives you more than one reasons to escape the urban scenery. One of these reasons lie on the top of the remote island of Gramvoussa.

An impressive Venetian castle dating from the Medieval times, with an architecture slightly less breathtaking than the view of the Aegean Sea someone can enjoy from its top!

The White Mountains in West Crete are hosting one of the country’s natural wonders: The UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Samaria Gorge. Situated in the National Park os Samaria, welcomes its visitor with slightly demanding, but definitely rewarding 5 to 7-hour walk. And if you’re lucky enough, you might have the chance to see its famous Kri-Kri goat!

Welcome to Crete

  • "Oasis on the outskirts of Chania"

Returned for a second time and it was better than the first. Nothing is too much for them as excellent service is at the heart of what they do to make your stay memorable. The hotel is in a beautiful bay west of Chania with a spa, two outside pools and the beach as your backdrop when eating breakfast or other meals. The guest relationship team will advise and help organize specific trips and any requirements you may have. We went to Imbros Gorge recommended by the Guest relationship manager and it was perfect and so beautiful. If you want a hotel that provides an Oasis and break that will make you want to go back again, then this is the destination for you.
  • A perfect place for sunsets and sundowners!

Third time staying… by far the best hotel in Chania… combine the tranquility of a luxury experience and enjoy the vibrant city…seven minutes away from the picturesque old town. The property is stunning, the beach rivals what you'd see on a postcard, right on the beach but with a chill-out grassed area between the restaurant and the sands give the hotel an exclusive club feel…the swimming pool the best I've seen…this an unforgettable experience…As is the meaning of its name Noruz, in Persian "new light", we saw the whole hospitality experience with a new light!
  • "Relax and be pampered in an adult only spa hotel by the sea, perfect destination."

Chania is so close by either public transport or taxi and there is so much to see and learn about the culture and history. It is so good we will be returning again soon. If you are looking for an adult 5 star hotel that feels like a 6 star+ then this is it. Don’t take our word for it, try it and be amazed.
