Chania

Built on the beach, the soft sands are great for strolling along while taking in the sound of incoming waves that stretch as far as the eye can see. But if you find yourself wandering around the old town’s narrow streets and walkways, you will quickly sense the reason Chania was the object of desire for numerous invaders. Venetians, Ottomans, Egyptians, and many others, have created a cultural amalgamation over time fused with local elements, creating the present-day city, a destination with many faces and a unique character.

The Aegean at its finest!

Agiee Apostolee, also known as Makris Teehos, is one of Chania’s most beautiful areas, which combines a rich flora, consisting mostly of eucalyptus and pine trees- an eye-catching ridge and a sandy beach with a breathtaking view of the Aegean particularly at sunset.

Images speak louder than words. The turquoise waters of Balos beach are the ultimate postcard of Crete. Exotic white sand, stunning surroundings, and shallow waters for children create the idyllic oasis of the most photographed beach in Greece. Visited by Princess Dianna, this is something you simply cannot miss!

Try to remember the last great sunset you’ve witnessed. Now go to Falasarna and replace that memory forever. This West coast destination offers more than fine pink sand and crystal clear waters. It is also the ideal spot to enjoy a beautiful Mediterranean sunset, as it faces the West. Don’t rush to be dazzled by the landscape’s palette, wait until the sun goes down…

  • "Oasis on the outskirts of Chania"

Returned for a second time and it was better than the first. Nothing is too much for them as excellent service is at the heart of what they do to make your stay memorable. The hotel is in a beautiful bay west of Chania with a spa, two outside pools and the beach as your backdrop when eating breakfast or other meals. The guest relationship team will advise and help organize specific trips and any requirements you may have. We went to Imbros Gorge recommended by the Guest relationship manager and it was perfect and so beautiful. If you want a hotel that provides an Oasis and break that will make you want to go back again, then this is the destination for you.
  • A perfect place for sunsets and sundowners!

Third time staying… by far the best hotel in Chania… combine the tranquility of a luxury experience and enjoy the vibrant city…seven minutes away from the picturesque old town. The property is stunning, the beach rivals what you'd see on a postcard, right on the beach but with a chill-out grassed area between the restaurant and the sands give the hotel an exclusive club feel…the swimming pool the best I've seen…this an unforgettable experience…As is the meaning of its name Noruz, in Persian "new light", we saw the whole hospitality experience with a new light!
  • "Relax and be pampered in an adult only spa hotel by the sea, perfect destination."

Chania is so close by either public transport or taxi and there is so much to see and learn about the culture and history. It is so good we will be returning again soon. If you are looking for an adult 5 star hotel that feels like a 6 star+ then this is it. Don’t take our word for it, try it and be amazed.
